Education and childcare

The education marketing agency that follows families to enrollment

Parents compare daycares, preschools and private schools for months before they choose. We plan search, your Google listing, social ads, video and email around that whole journey, from the first inquiry to the tour to the signed enrollment, and we time the budget to the seasons when families decide.

  • 5,400searches a month for "daycare near me" in the Charlotte area
  • 2,900Charlotte-area searches for "preschool near me" in January, more than double December

The short answer

What should an education marketing agency do for a school or daycare?

An education marketing agency should fill seats with the right families, measured in tours and enrollments, not in clicks or inquiry forms.

A family that asks about a daycare or a private school is still months from a decision. Most of the value is won or lost between the inquiry and the tour, and between the tour and the deposit. Whether you need daycare advertising, private school campaigns or a higher education ad agency, we plan the education ads, the listing, the landing pages and the follow-up email as one path, connect it to the admissions or enrollment software the school already uses, and set the budget by open seats and the time of year families choose.

What schools and childcare centers need from marketing.

A daycare with an infant room to fill, a private school before open house season and a tutoring center before exams sell very different decisions. These are the needs we plan around.

  • Budget timed to the enrollment calendar

Searches for preschool and private school rise in January and again in late summer. Spend that is flat all year misses the months when families choose.

  • Tours booked, not only inquiries

Parents rarely enroll without visiting. The tour is the step that predicts enrollment, so it is the step the marketing is measured on.

  • Trust and safety up front

Parents want to see classrooms, teachers, ratios, licensing and security before they call. Pages and ads that hide them lose to the center that shows them.

  • Fast, warm follow-up

Families contact several schools in the same week. The one that answers quickly and books a tour usually wins the visit.

  • Waitlists and full rooms

A full toddler room and an empty infant room need different messages. Ads should push the openings and build the waitlist for the rest, not pay for inquiries nobody can take.

  • Re-enrollment and siblings

Current families, siblings and referrals bring many new students. Marketing should keep them close, not only chase new names.

What families search for schools and childcare, in Charlotte and across the US.

Monthly searches and estimated click costs in the Charlotte market. Daycare and preschool searches are larger and cost more per click; private school searches are cheap but fewer, so the number of searches, not the price, limits how much a school can usefully spend.

Two seasons, not one
"preschool near me" peaks in the Charlotte area at about 2,900 searches in January and 2,400 in August and September, against 1,300 in December. "private school" swings from about 480 in December to 2,400 in July. Budgets should rise ahead of each peak.
Infant care costs the most
"infant daycare near me" runs about $7 to $31 a click, the highest in the set, because infant seats are scarce and every center with an opening bids for them.
Private school demand is cheap but small
"private schools charlotte nc" runs about $1 to $5 a click. With about 1,300 searches a month, a school reaches most of them on a modest budget, so the listing, reviews and open house pages matter as much as the ads.

Our approach: it depends, and the data decides.

A single daycare center, a private school with three divisions and a tutoring company with several locations need different plans. Four things set the starting point.

  • Your seats and goals Fill an infant room, grow kindergarten, launch a new campus or keep a waitlist full. Each starts somewhere different.
  • Your timeline Search and the Google listing bring tour requests within weeks. Pages, reviews and video build over a year, ahead of the next enrollment season.
  • Your budget and tuition What a year of tuition is worth, and how many seats are open, set what a tour and an enrollment can cost.
  • Your competition National childcare chains, church schools and well-known private schools shape which searches to bid on and what to say.

Data sets the starting mix by program and season, ties each tour and enrollment to its source, and tells us when to change course.

  • Daycare or preschool

Fill open rooms and keep a waitlist

Local search and the Google listing on a tight radius, social ads to nearby families, tour booking online and fast follow-up.

  • Private school

Bring more families to open houses

Search and video ahead of open house season, an inquiry to visit to application email path, and tracking into the admissions software.

  • College, training or tutoring program

    Grow enrollment for each program

Search, social and video by program and start date, information sessions, and long email nurture to the application.

If a Charlotte preschool and private school came to us, here is how we would start.

This is the plan we would pitch to a real client, built for a fictional south Charlotte school with a preschool and a private elementary school, using real Charlotte search data. The school, its phone number and its website are invented. Sample data shows the kind of results a campaign like this tracks; it is not a client result and not a promise.

How our specialists segment search demand by buyer intent

The preschool and the elementary school get separate campaigns and budgets, because their searches cost very different amounts and their families decide on different calendars.

Daycare and preschool

Parents near the school looking for a place now or for the next school year. Larger demand and higher click costs.

preschool near me1,900$5.01 to $21.85
daycare charlotte nc1,300$6.00 to $24.10

Private elementary

Families comparing private schools months before the school year. Cheap clicks, but a limited number of searches.

The Google listing and the map

For "near me" searches the map decides, and parents read it closely. The listing carries the programs and ages, hours, classroom and playground photos, the tour booking link and replies to every review. Childcare centers in North Carolina are licensed and star-rated by the state, and parents can look a center up through NC Child Care, so the listing and the landing page should state the license plainly rather than leave parents to wonder.

The Facebook ad

Most parents start looking long before they are ready to call. Social ads shown to families near the school keep it in mind during that time and drive tour bookings ahead of each enrollment season.

The email

Many booked tours never happen. A reminder before the visit and a warm follow-up after it keep more families coming in and more of them applying, and it costs nothing per click.

Education marketing from Charlotte, for Charlotte schools and beyond.

We are based in Charlotte and plan campaigns for schools and childcare centers across the region, from Ballantyne, Matthews and Huntersville to Concord, Gastonia and Rock Hill, on the search data of the neighborhoods each school draws from. Families rarely drive far for daycare or preschool, so the radius and the map matter more than in most industries. We also work with schools, colleges and education programs across the US, with each campaign built on its own market’s data.

Six enrollment leaks we fix for schools and childcare centers.

When we audit private school, preschool and tutoring accounts, we rebuild these six areas first so marketing drives booked campus tours and enrolled students.

  1. Optimizing campaigns for booked tours and enrollments, not raw inquiries

An inquiry form is only the first step. We connect your admissions or center CRM back to Google and Meta so budgets follow the campaigns that produce attended tours and enrolled families.

  2. Triggering instant tour-scheduling replies when parents inquire

Parents often contact three programs during the same lunch break. We wire instant tour-booking calendars and SMS confirmations so your admissions team books the visit first.

  3. Shifting ad spend dynamically toward classrooms and grades with open seats

Paying for toddler clicks when the toddler room has a waitlist wastes budget. We adjust campaign budgets by age group, grade division and campus capacity every month.

  4. Showcasing real classrooms, teacher credentials, ratios and safety

Parents choose trust over slogans. We build division and classroom pages featuring real campus photography, licensing credentials, curriculum detail and teacher bios.

  5. Pacing budgets around peak January, spring and back-to-school windows

Enrollment searches surge during New Year planning, spring admissions and late summer. We concentrate media weight ahead of those windows so open seats fill before the term starts.

  6. Nurturing families after the tour until the application is complete

Families rarely enroll on the spot without follow-up. We build automated post-tour email sequences that answer tuition, transit and curriculum questions until enrollment is signed.

Schools and programs we plan for.

Each kind of school has its own searches, seasons and enrollment path. Pages for each one go live one by one.

  • Private schoolsOpen houses, admissions and long family decisions.
  • Daycare and preschoolsTours, waitlists and parent trust.
  • Tutoring and test prepParents, test seasons and packages.

Our analysis for schools

Questions schools and childcare centers ask us.

When should we start marketing before enrollment season?

Two to three months ahead of each peak. In the Charlotte area, preschool searches rise in January and again in August, and private school searches peak in spring and July. Pages, reviews and video should be ready before the ads start.

What should a tour cost us?

It depends on tuition, open seats and the program. We set a target cost per tour and per enrollment from what a year of tuition is worth to the school, then track both from the first month and move budget to the channels that bring families who enroll.

How does a waitlist change the budget?

A full room needs less paid search and more listing, referral and email work to keep the waitlist warm. Paid budget moves to the rooms and grades with openings, and comes back when a room opens.

Can you connect to our admissions or childcare software?

In most cases, yes. Tours, applications and enrollments from the school’s software are sent back to the ad platforms, so budgets follow families who enroll, not form fills.

Do you only work with schools in Charlotte?

No. We are based in Charlotte and work with schools, childcare operators, colleges and education programs across the US, with each campaign planned on its own market’s data.

What do you count as a result?

Tours held and enrollments, and the cost of each by program and channel. Clicks and inquiries are tracked, but never treated as the goal.
