Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

At Overtop Media Digital Marketing, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit this website (https://overtopmedia.com) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of our website, including:

  • Personal Information: Information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, email address, phone number, business name, role, monthly marketing investment range, and company website URL, when you voluntarily submit it to us via our audit forms or tool unlock forms.
  • Technical and Usage Data: Technical details such as your browser type, device type, screen resolution, viewport, operating system, hardware concurrency and graphics renderer, IP address, network autonomous system (ASN/ISP), coarse geographical location, timezone, referrer page, campaign attribution parameters (UTM tags and ad click IDs), time spent on pages, and scroll depth.

3. Bot and Abuse Prevention

Bot and abuse prevention. This website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that visitors are human and to protect our forms and interactive tools from spam and automated abuse. Turnstile may collect information such as your IP address and data about your interaction with the site to assess risk. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/) and the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/turnstile-privacy-policy/). Turnstile runs invisibly and does not display a challenge to most visitors.

4. Cookies and Your Choices

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to measure how visitors use it, and to measure the performance of our advertising. Analytics and marketing cookies are enabled by default. You can turn them off at any time on our Cookie Preferences page, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

5. Free Diagnostic Tools and Shareable Snapshots

When you use our Free Digital Marketing Tools, we process the inputs you enter (such as a website URL, domain, business name, keyword, or uploaded search-terms report for browser-based tools) together with first-party session and edge signals to run the diagnostic, prevent automated abuse, and generate your report:

  • First-Party Tool Cookies: We set a first-party visitor cookie (omdm_vid) and, when you unlock full access, an unlock status cookie (omdm_tool_unlocked). These cookies have a maximum browser lifetime of 400 days (approximately 13 months) and are used to enforce daily anonymous and unlocked run quotas and remember your unlocked access across all diagnostic tools.
  • Shareable Result Snapshots: Completed diagnostic runs may generate a unique, unlisted snapshot link (/tools/<tool>/r/<id>/) served with noindex, nofollow headers so you can bookmark or share the diagnostic output with your team without search engines indexing your snapshot.
  • Unlocked Access and Specialist Follow-Up: When you submit the Details Form to unlock additional daily runs and deeper diagnostic data, our specialists at Overtop Media Digital Marketing may review your diagnostic inputs and results to provide relevant marketing insights or follow up regarding our services.

6. Global Privacy Control, No-Sale Commitment, and Data Retention

We never sell your personal information. Overtop Media Digital Marketing does not sell, rent, or trade your personal contact information, form submissions, or diagnostic tool inputs to third-party data brokers or external advertisers. We also detect and record browser Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC: 1) signals automatically.

Data retention. First-party browser cookies (omdm_vid and omdm_tool_unlocked) expire automatically after the browser maximum of 400 days. Submitted audit inquiries, unlocked tool visitor profiles, and operational diagnostic run and shareable snapshot records are retained for the duration of our business relationship, ongoing commercial outreach, historical performance benchmarking, and keeping your bookmarked shareable result links active, or until you request deletion. We periodically review inactive records, and you may request deletion of your personal information or saved diagnostic snapshots at any time by emailing contact@overtopmedia.com.

7. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect about you or that you provide to us:

  • To present our website, interactive diagnostic tools, and contents to you.
  • To provide you with the custom digital marketing roadmaps, diagnostic snapshots, and keyword search volume analytics you request.
  • To improve our website, diagnostic accuracy, user experience, and services.
  • To contact you about our digital marketing and advertising services that may be of interest to you.

8. Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored securely and handled safely.
