The short answer
Who should run your Omnisend account?
A team that writes workflows for your products, segments by what customers actually do, and measures the result against your store’s real sales.
Omnisend is an email, SMS and web push platform built for online stores on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix and other store platforms. The platform is only as good as the program inside it. Overtop Media Digital Marketing has grown businesses from Charlotte since 2009, and we run Omnisend as part of one plan with your ads, so the customers you pay to win keep buying. It sits inside our wider email marketing services, alongside the other platforms we run.
- Built from your store dataWorkflows, segments and offers written for your products, margins and buying cycle, not switched on from a template and left alone.
- One plan with your adsA Google Partner that also runs Meta and Microsoft ads, so the customers your ads bring in are the ones email, text and push turn into regulars.
- A Charlotte office you can visit933 Louise Ave, in Elizabeth. Local businesses get local people; online brands anywhere in the US get the same team.

2% of the emails. 30% of the revenue.
Automated messages, the ones that go out on their own after a sign-up, a cart or an order, are a tiny share of what stores send and a large share of what they earn.
- 16xmore revenue per send from automated emails than from scheduled campaigns (2025)
- 87%of automated orders came from cart, welcome and browse abandonment messages (2024)
- 18%of SMS orders came from automated texts, which were 9% of SMS sends (2024)
- 22.9%conversion rate on push notification automations (2025)

What a well-run Omnisend account does for your store.
Seven results stores hire us for. Open each one to see how we get there and the evidence behind it.
A list that grows every day
Every result in email and text starts with who is on your list. We set up sign-up forms for desktop and mobile, a reason to join that fits your margins, and a second step that asks for a phone number. Then we test timing, offers and designs until more of your visitors subscribe before they leave.
A US aromatherapy brand grew newsletter sign-ups 150% in four weeks by testing one Omnisend form a week, per an Omnisend-published story.
Abandoned carts and browsers brought back
Most shoppers leave without buying. Workflows follow up on their own: a reminder of the cart they left, the product they looked at twice, the item back in stock. We write each message for your products, decide which ones go by email, text or push, and test the wait times until the workflow earns its keep.
Across Omnisend customers, cart, welcome and browse abandonment messages produced 87% of automated orders in 2024, according to Omnisend’s 2025 report.
The right message to the right customers
One big list treated the same way wears people out. We build segments from what customers actually do: what they bought, how much they spend, when they last opened and what they browse. Best customers hear about new arrivals first, quiet ones hear from you less, and nobody gets a discount they did not need.
A Madrid dog accessories brand earns about 45% of its Omnisend revenue from segmented campaigns, per an Omnisend-published story.
Text messages people are glad to get
Texts are read fast, which makes them powerful and easy to overuse. We collect consent properly, respect quiet hours by the customer’s time zone, and send texts only where they add something email cannot: a cart reminder, a drop, a delivery update, the last hours of a sale.
A Washington riding apparel brand’s cart reminder text converted at 15% and earned $2.87 per message, per an Omnisend-published story.
Push notifications for visitors without an email
Most visitors never fill in a form. Web push lets them opt in with one click, then hear about the cart they left or the price that dropped. We use it as a third channel for visitors email cannot reach yet, never as a way to send more of the same.
Omnisend reports a 22.9% conversion rate on push notification automations in 2025.
Emails that look like your brand
Good email design is quiet: clear products, one obvious button, readable on a phone and light enough to land in the inbox. We design reusable templates for welcome, cart and order emails in your brand, so every message looks like you and campaigns take hours to build, not days.
We test layouts and subject lines against each other, so design decisions come from your customers’ clicks.
Omnisend AI working, with a person in charge
Omnisend AI can write copy and subject lines, recommend products, build forms and segments from a plain request, and flag customers at risk of leaving. Used carelessly, AI sends more messages, not better ones. We use it where it measurably helps and review every customer-facing change before it goes live.
Every AI-written subject line or segment is checked against your brand voice and your results before it ships.

Your biggest weekend is built in September
Black Friday runs on your own list.
Ad prices peak over the holidays, and so does competition for every click. The stores that win the season are the ones with a large, engaged list and workflows already tuned, so the busiest days run on customers they do not have to pay to reach again.
- Nearly 2xaverage order value in Q4 2025, even as click volume dropped, across Omnisend brands
- $744.37average order from birthday automations in 2025, more than 4 times the platform average
- 30.7%average email open rate across Omnisend brands in 2025

Estimated monthly revenue from automated messages

Your campaigns earn about $0.20 per email. At Omnisend’s average of 16 times more per send, each automated message would earn about $3.20.

Why "just turn on the pre-built workflows" leaves money behind.
Omnisend makes it easy to switch on ready-made workflows in an afternoon. It is a fine start and a costly place to stop.
A switched-on account
- Pre-built workflows switched on and left alone
- One list, and everyone gets everything
- A discount in every message
- Email, text and push planned separately
- Attributed revenue taken at face value
- Inbox placement ignored until sales drop
Run by OVERTOP
- Workflows written for your products, margins and buying cycle
- Segments by purchases, value, engagement and location
- Offers only where they change behavior, so margins hold
- One schedule across email, text and push
- Results checked against your store’s total sales
- Sender setup, list cleaning and warming from day one
Why each one matters
Templates are a starting point
Omnisend ships with ready-made workflows, and switching them on beats having nothing. But a template does not know that your customers reorder every 45 days, that your best sellers have thin margins, or that half your buyers shop on their phones at night. We rewrite the timing, content and offers for your business.
Segments protect the list
Sending every campaign to everyone trains people to ignore you, and mailbox providers notice. We send more often to the people who engage and buy, less often to the rest, and retire addresses that only hurt delivery.
Discounts are expensive
A coupon in every email teaches customers to wait for one. We use offers where they move a decision, and lead with product, proof and timing everywhere else.
Three channels, one customer
When email, text and push are planned in separate calendars, customers get the same promotion three times in an hour. We plan them together and decide which message goes by which channel.
Attribution needs a reality check
Omnisend lets you set attribution windows per channel, and any platform will credit itself with sales that would have happened anyway. We compare against your store’s total revenue and use holdout groups, so you know what email, text and push actually added.
Delivery is the first job
The best workflow earns nothing in a spam folder. We set up sender authentication on your domain, warm new sending gradually, watch inbox placement and clean the list, so your messages land where customers read them.
Proof email, text and push add sales, not just credit.
Every platform likes to take credit for sales that would have happened anyway. Before we ask you to invest more in email, text and push, we show you what they added to your business.
- Omnisend results compared with your store’s total revenue, not reported on their own.
- Attribution windows set deliberately for each channel, and holdout groups that receive nothing.
- Repeat purchase rate, customer value and list growth tracked every month.
- Email, text, push and your ads read from the same order data, so no channel double counts.
One team for every channel.
Omnisend works best as part of a plan, not a separate account someone checks once a month. Here is where it fits in our email marketing work and the rest of your marketing.
- Ads bring in new shoppers Google, Meta and Microsoft ads put your products in front of people ready to buy.
- Your website captures them Fast pages and sign-up forms turn visits into first orders and subscribers.
- Omnisend works here Omnisend brings them back Email, text and push turn first orders into the second, third and tenth.
- Analytics proves what paid off Every channel judged on the same store revenue.
Google Ads
Search and Shopping ads bring in buyers who are ready now, and every new customer enters your welcome workflow.
Meta ads
Facebook and Instagram ads find new customers who look like your best ones, using your Omnisend segments, and bring them to your sign-up offer.
Microsoft Ads
Bing search and shopping ads reach buyers Google misses, often at a lower cost per click, and feed the same list.
Analytics and tracking
One set of numbers for every channel, tied to real orders, so email, text, push and ads are judged the same way.
Other email platforms
Not on Omnisend, or not sure it is the right fit? We also run Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign and Constant Contact programs, and we will tell you honestly which one fits your business.

Questions about Omnisend email, SMS and push.
What does an Omnisend expert actually do?
We set up and run the whole program: store integration, sign-up forms, automated workflows, segments, campaign planning, email design, text and push messages, deliverability and reporting. You approve the plan and the big decisions; we do the building, writing, testing and monthly improvement.
Is Omnisend good for Shopify stores?
Yes. Omnisend is built for online stores and connects to Shopify, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix and other store platforms, with more than 305 pre-built integrations. Orders, carts and browsing sync automatically, so workflows and segments respond to what each shopper does.
Omnisend or Klaviyo: which is better for my store?
Both are strong ecommerce platforms with email, text, segments and automation built on store data. Omnisend includes web push and is often simpler to run for small and mid-sized stores; Klaviyo has deeper data and analytics tools for larger brands. We work in both and recommend the one that fits your store, your team and your budget.
Can you move us to Omnisend from Mailchimp, Klaviyo or another platform?
Yes. We move your subscribers with their consent records, rebuild your workflows and templates, connect your store, and warm up sending on your domain so inbox placement does not drop. We plan the switch around your sales calendar, never in the weeks before a big promotion.
How much does Omnisend cost?
Omnisend has a free plan for up to 250 contacts and 500 emails a month. Paid plans (Standard, Pro and Custom) scale with your number of contacts. Web push is included at no extra cost, and text messages are paid per message at rates that depend on the country. Our management fee is quoted after we understand your business, so we do not publish price lists.
What does the “$79 for every $1” figure mean?
It is Omnisend’s own estimate: the average ecommerce revenue attributed to email, SMS, push and automations sent by Omnisend merchants on paid plans in 2025, for every dollar spent, based on Omnisend’s internal analysis. Omnisend notes that actual results vary. We judge your program on your own store revenue, not on averages.
Is SMS marketing worth it, and is it legal?
For most stores, yes, when it is used sparingly for messages that matter: cart reminders, drops, delivery updates and the last hours of a sale. Texting needs clear, separate consent, quiet hours and an easy way to opt out. Omnisend has consent-friendly forms, quiet hours and frequency caps, and we set those rules up from the start.
Which Omnisend workflows should every store have?
At minimum: a welcome series, abandoned cart, browse and product abandonment, and a post-purchase workflow. Depending on what you sell, back in stock, birthday, reorder reminders and win-back usually come next. Order matters: we build the workflows with the most revenue at stake first.
Does Omnisend work for businesses that are not online stores?
Omnisend is built for ecommerce, so stores get the most from it. Service and local businesses can still use it for newsletters, sign-up forms and simple automations, and one of the stories on this page is a software company. If you mainly book appointments or sell services, we may recommend another platform, and we will tell you why.
How fast will we see results?
Workflows start earning as soon as they go live, because shoppers are already abandoning carts and joining your list every day. Most stores see the first lift within weeks. Segments, testing and campaign planning compound over the following months.
Who owns the Omnisend account and our customer data?
You do. The Omnisend account, the list, the templates and the data stay in your name. We work inside your account with our own logins, and if we ever part ways, everything stays with you.
Do you only work with Charlotte businesses?
No. Our office is in Charlotte and we know the Charlotte metro market well, but Overtop Media Digital Marketing runs Omnisend for online stores across the United States. Local or national, you work with the same team you meet on the first call.
