Omnisend success story · Dog accessories brand
How Dukier grew revenue from Omnisend 525% in three years with email in five languages.
A dog harness and leash brand selling across Southern and Western Europe stopped sending one email to everyone. Localized campaigns, segments and a few well-built automations took its revenue from Omnisend from €82,857 to €518,860 in three years.

The challenge.
Dukier sells dog harnesses, leashes, collars and apparel from its Shopify store in Madrid, to customers in Spain, Germany, France, Italy and Portugal.
Its email had been one-size-fits-all: the same message, in the same language, at the same time, for five different markets. That made it hard to be relevant to anyone, and it left most of email’s potential untouched.
What they did.
Localized campaigns in five languages · Welcome and cart automations · Lead capture · Segmented campaigns
- Localized every market
- Campaigns in Spanish, German, French, Italian and Portuguese, with catalogs and timing adapted to each country.
- Built the core automations
- Welcome, abandoned cart and lead capture automations sent more than 222,000 messages with a 48.4% open rate and over 6,200 orders.
- Segmented the campaigns
- Segmented campaigns produced about 45% of Omnisend-driven revenue, and campaign revenue grew 532% to more than €232,000.
- Planned around the peaks
- Seasonal campaigns timed to moments such as Black Friday, sent to the segments most likely to buy.
Why it worked.
Our read on the decisions behind the numbers, and what any business can take from them.
- Language is relevance
- An email in the reader’s own language, with prices and products for their country, is simply more likely to be read and acted on.
- Automations compound
- Every new visitor and abandoned cart triggers the same tested follow-up, which is why automations grew to 55% of Omnisend revenue.
- Relevance kept the list healthy
- Spam complaints stayed below 0.01% and unsubscribes at 0.36%, so the list kept growing in value.
- Email customers were worth as much
- Customers won through email spent €44.19 per order, slightly more than the €43.22 from other channels.
How we would run this play for your business.
You do not need a national budget to use the same ideas. This is how Overtop Media Digital Marketing puts them to work in our Omnisend email, SMS and push management.
- Segment by market and behavior
- In our Omnisend email, SMS and push management, we build segments by location, language, purchase history and engagement before writing a single campaign.
- Localize what matters
- Selling in several states or countries? Offers, shipping times, holidays and language follow the customer, not the head office.
- Start with three workflows
- Welcome, abandoned cart and lead capture first, measured from week one, then everything else.
- Grow across channels
- Email works best alongside the ads that find new customers. See our email marketing services and how they connect to paid media.
Who this play fits.
You do not have to be a dog accessories brand to use the same approach. It is a strong fit for:
- Pet product brands
- Stores selling in several countries or regions
- Accessories and lifestyle brands
- Shopify stores ready to segment
- Brands with a loyal repeat customer base
- Any store sending one email to everyone
